About the role

ITMS Russia is looking for an experienced Information Security Engineer to strengthen the protection of its IT infrastructure, including servers, networks and cloud environments. You will work closely with DevOps and other IT teams to embed security into daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and improve Vulnerability Management processes from detection to remediation.
• Increase the security level of Windows and Linux servers and network devices using hardening best practices.
• Automate security controls together with the DevOps team.
• Analyze security incidents, investigate attack vectors and define preventive measures.
• Participate in the configuration of next‑generation firewalls (NGFW) and threat‑detection systems.
• Design and implement Identity & Access Management solutions such as MFA, PAM, Active Directory and GPO.

Required profile

• Higher education.
• At least 4 years of experience in information security with a focus on infrastructure protection.
• Hands‑on experience building Vulnerability Management processes.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, hardening standards and modern security frameworks.
• Good understanding of networking (OSI model, TCP/IP, segmentation).
• Experience in incident investigation, EDR tools and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Automation skills (Python or Bash) and familiarity with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes are a plus.
• Relevant certifications (OSCP, CISSP, CISM) are advantageous.
