About the role

We are looking for an IT Project Manager to lead the development of websites, web applications (1C‑Bitrix, Magento) and chat‑bots for a leading tobacco and nicotine products company in Russia. The role involves coordinating internal stakeholders, external vendors and the IT team to deliver secure, stable and innovative digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end IT projects for websites, web‑apps and chat‑bots.
• Gather and refine business requirements together with internal customers.
• Design technical solutions in collaboration with developers.
• Ensure security and stability of all project deliverables.
• Define tasks, plan sprints and monitor timelines, quality, budget and conduct task reviews.
• Maintain project and technical documentation, including API specifications.
• Research new services and technologies, including AI/LLM, to automate business processes.
• Coordinate with business units, external contractors and the IT team throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Higher education, preferably in a technical, mathematical or technology‑related field.
• At least 2 years of experience managing IT projects and development teams, including external contractors.
• Strong multitasking, independence and initiative with a focus on optimal solutions.
• Basic understanding of web technologies, APIs and IT system architecture is a plus.
• Willingness to use AI tools daily and develop expertise in this area.
• Familiarity with project‑management and collaboration tools such as GitLab, Kaiten, Figma, Miro and Postman.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
