Technical Engineer – Medium Voltage VFD Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Engineer to lead on‑site commissioning of medium‑voltage variable frequency drives (VFDs) in Russia and provide comprehensive technical support for both domestic and overseas customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site commissioning of medium‑voltage VFDs, troubleshooting complex technical issues independently.
• Collaborate with the Russian sales team on pre‑sales activities, including technical discussions, proposal preparation and product presentations.
• Provide end‑to‑end technical support for medium‑ and low‑voltage VFD product lines, covering both pre‑sales and post‑sales phases.
• Deliver remote technical assistance to customers in South Africa and Egypt, ensuring high‑quality service across time zones.

Required profile

• Proven on‑site commissioning experience with medium‑voltage VFDs and familiarity with at least one mainstream VFD brand.
• Strong presentation abilities to act as the technical point of contact for sales teams and customers.
• Fluent English for communication with headquarters in China and overseas support.
• High sense of responsibility and effective remote communication skills.
