(Associate) Clinical Application Specialist, Mako Product (Moscow)

About the role

Stryker is hiring a Mako Product Specialist in Moscow to provide clinical product support to end users of its Mako robotic surgery products across Russia. The role is field-based, with about 70% travel, and involves on-site guidance during procedures, training and customer education, and supporting account launches.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with dealer representatives, Stryker Sales, Marketing, Service and local Mako teams to support account launches and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Train surgeons and operating room staff on Mako applications, equipment and instruments, and use proprietary software to prepare pre-operative CT scans for implant planning, sizing and positioning.
• Provide real-time clinical support and on-site guidance during Mako procedures, and manage local inventory of equipment, instruments, implants and disposables.
• Work with Radiology and IT to complete DICOM image transfer installations.
• Support customer visits, demonstrations, roadshows and new product introductions, and build relationships with surgeons, hospital stakeholders and dealers.
• Provide case coverage, submit case reviews and feedback, and communicate customer issues through regulatory processes.
• Support the RAQA team with Mako registration and clinical approvals, and keep up to date through training and recertification.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a medical, clinical, engineering, biomedical or related field preferred.
• Experience in nursing, medical practice, biomedical science, clinical engineering, radiography, physiotherapy, sports medicine, account management, sales, product support or the medical device industry.
• Comfortable working in an operating room environment and with surgeons and hospital teams.
• Willingness to travel frequently, domestically and internationally.
• Based in, or willing to be based in, Moscow.

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, ERP systems, file management and record maintenance.
• Attention to detail and ability to analyse written specifications and recommend appropriate products.
