Clinical Application Specialist – Mako Product (Moscow)

About the role

We are seeking a Clinical Application Specialist to provide on‑site support for our Mako Robotic Surgery system across Russia. The role involves assisting surgeons during procedures, delivering training, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Support account launches in partnership with dealers, sales, marketing, service, and local Mako teams.
• Train surgeons and operating‑room staff on Mako applications, equipment, and instruments.
• Prepare pre‑operative CT scans using proprietary software for implant planning.
• Provide real‑time clinical product support and guidance during surgeries.
• Manage local Mako equipment, instruments, implants, and inventory.
• Coordinate DICOM image transfer installations with radiology and IT.
• Maintain clinical knowledge through training, recertification, and new product introductions.
• Act as product expert for demonstrations, roadshows, and new product activities.
• Build strong relationships with surgeons, OR staff, hospital stakeholders, and dealers.
• Submit detailed case reports, feedback, and recommendations for improvements.
• Support regulatory processes and RAQA registration activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a medical, clinical, engineering, biomedical, or related field (preferred).
• Experience in nursing, medical practice, biomedical science, clinical engineering, radiography, physiotherapy, sports medicine, account management, sales, product support, or medical devices.
• Comfortable working in an operating‑room environment.
• Strong customer‑service mindset with excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to analyse specifications for product selection.
• Willingness to travel frequently, domestically and internationally.
• Based in, or willing to be based in, Moscow.
