About the role

ITMS Russia is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to support its marketing investment portfolio for leading tobacco and nicotine‑free brands. The role focuses on financial performance, risk mitigation, and data‑driven decision making within a fast‑moving consumer goods environment.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate marketing investment efficiency, analyse material write‑offs, identify risks and develop action plans.
• Prepare management reporting data (P&L), analyse variances, build financial models and scenario calculations.
• Detect risks early, create scenario models and facilitate data‑based decision making.
• Manage monthly and annual closing of marketing investments and expenses, including accruals, adjustments, loss identification and proper accounting in 1C.
• Participate in budgeting cycles, consolidate and critically review departmental plans for consumer marketing and expenses.
• Coordinate with multiple non‑finance departments, lead meetings, document agreements and brief senior management.
• Contribute to automation and improvement of financial tools and reports.

Required profile

• Higher education in finance or economics.
• At least one year of experience in financial analysis, budgeting or controlling; FMCG or marketing investment experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of management reporting, cost and revenue accounting principles.
• Familiarity with primary documentation and tax legislation.
• Excellent analytical abilities and comfort working with large data sets.
• Proactive communication skills and ability to highlight risks and propose solutions.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with 1C accounting software.
