Onsite Network Engineer

About the role

D-ploy is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support both on‑premise and cloud technologies for its corporate voice and data networks. The role reports to an IT manager and works within a collaborative international team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and support for LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, telephone systems, firewalls and wireless solutions.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot network management, monitoring and security tools.
• Analyze and resolve issues in network and telecom environments, ensuring high‑quality transmission.
• Engage with third‑party service providers and vendors, and maintain comprehensive network documentation.
• Collaborate with security, server, helpdesk and other IT specialists on complex projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in information systems and network engineering.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• CCNA (required) and CCNP (preferred) certifications.
• Extensive experience with LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, routing, switching and related protocols.
• Proficiency with Fortinet and Cisco networking solutions.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and operations.
• Knowledge of telephony systems (PBX, voicemail), VOIP/TDM and TCP/IP.
• Understanding of the OSI model and network security concepts.
• Linux/UNIX knowledge and experience with VMWare and Microsoft Server is a plus.
