About the role

The Logistics Manager will lead end‑to‑end regional logistics operations for Lamipak in Moscow, overseeing everything from port arrival to final delivery. The role ensures smooth customs clearance, transportation, VMI warehousing, and customer service while managing exceptions and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the full logistics chain: port arrival, customs clearance, container pick‑up, inland transport, VMI warehouse handling, order outbound, and delivery.
• Track vessel schedules, manage freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines and resolve port congestion, demurrage and other contingencies.
• Plan optimal transportation routes, monitor shipments, and activate contingency plans for delays or damage.
• Oversee VMI warehouse operations including receiving, inspection, put‑away, inventory accuracy, cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Maintain inventory health, address damaged or slow‑moving goods and propose optimization measures.
• Serve as logistics point of contact for sales and customers, provide feasibility assessments, lead‑time commitments and resolve delivery issues.
• Build and manage a network of local service providers such as customs brokers, trucking fleets and bonded warehouses.
• Design one‑stop logistics solutions, set regional budgets, monitor costs and drive efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with customs, trade, tax and safety regulations and produce operational analysis for headquarters.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing end‑to‑end logistics operations and VMI warehousing.
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures, freight forwarding and inland transportation in Russia.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams, sales and customers to align logistics milestones.
• Analytical mindset for cost control, budgeting and performance reporting.

• Warehouse Management System (WMS) proficiency.
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) familiarity.
• Vendor‑Managed Inventory (VMI) processes.
