Human Resources Director – Automotive, Retail & E‑Commerce

About the role

JFL Consulting seeks a senior Human Resources Director to shape and lead the HR function as a strategic partner. The role will drive culture transformation, talent development, and the creation of transparent, data‑driven HR processes across automotive, retail and e‑commerce businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an HR strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
• Foster a performance‑oriented culture emphasizing engagement, accountability and ownership.
• Design and optimise recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and employee development systems.
• Build talent pipelines, succession plans, career paths and detailed role profiles.
• Implement HR analytics to support data‑based decision‑making.
• Create compensation, incentive and KPI frameworks linked to business performance.
• Enhance the effectiveness of the HR team and streamline administrative processes.
• Strengthen internal communications, employer branding and employee engagement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading HR transformation projects and performance‑management frameworks (OKRs, KPIs).
• Strategic, systems‑oriented mindset with strong business‑metric understanding.
• Ability to translate business challenges into practical HR solutions.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and change‑management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, accountability and willingness to make tough decisions.
• High emotional intelligence, adaptability and resilience in fast‑paced environments.
