Head of Ethics, Risk & Compliance - Russia

About the role

The Head of Ethics, Risk & Compliance (ERC) Russia leads ethics, risk and compliance for Russia as a strategic partner enabling responsible growth with integrity. The role shapes and executes a fit-for-purpose ERC strategy, translates global standards such as ABAC, DPDAI and COI into practical solutions, builds a high-performing ERC team and strengthens trust with regulators and stakeholders in a highly regulated pharma environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set the ERC vision and strategy for Russia, integrate risk intelligence into business planning, and design programs, controls and governance with clear decision rights and escalation pathways
• Provide authoritative guidance on complex compliance matters, maintain credibility with regulators and auditors, and oversee promotional/non-promotional activity governance
• Cultivate a speak-up, accountable culture, run an annual local training plan (Code of Ethics, SpeakUp, Anti-Bribery, etc.) and improve culture metrics
• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, co-create mitigation strategies and champion One ERC across divisions, Development and Operations
• Lead risk assessments, audits, monitoring and reporting, ensure SpeakUp processes are effective, oversee corrective actions and coordinate Business Continuity and Emergency Management readiness
• Represent the company in committees and associations and engage with regulators and industry bodies
• Build and develop the ERC team, including coaching routines and succession planning

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in ERC or adjacent regulated environments, with proven mastery of ABAC, DPDAI, COI and local regulatory frameworks
• University degree required, MBA preferred
• Track record in culture change, speak-up enablement and ethical leadership
• Team leadership, talent strategy and coaching across complex matrices
