Corporate Finance Intern – Digital Solutions & Liquidity

About the role

ITMS Russia is looking for a motivated Corporate Finance Intern to support the finance department in digital transformation, liquidity management and tax analysis. This 40‑hour‑per‑week position starts with onsite work and moves to a hybrid schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing a unified digital task calendar with automatic notifications presented as a Kanban board.
• Support a project that automates short‑term liquidity analysis and cash‑flow forecasting, with integration into the 1C system.
• Analyze direct cash‑flow data, compare plan vs. actual, identify deviations and prepare commentary.
• Work with tax declarations, perform detailed variance analysis and pinpoint reasons for discrepancies.
• Participate in automating tax‑declaration analysis using artificial‑intelligence tools.
• Document financial processes through clear manuals and flowcharts for future digitisation.
• Prepare analytical reports and presentations for senior finance leaders.

Required profile

• Ready to work 40 hours per week (on‑site for the first 4‑6 weeks, then one remote day per week).
• Completed higher education in finance or final‑year student of a finance‑related program.
• Knowledge of Russian GAAP (RSBU) and IFRS.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Structured thinking, persistence, flexibility and a strong desire to develop in finance.
• Ability to describe processes using manuals and flowcharts.
• Familiarity with 1C (any configuration) is a plus.
• English at B2 level or higher is advantageous.
• Relevant finance experience is a plus.
