About the role
We are looking for a senior Software Engineer to lead our Moscow software team for a leading laser printer manufacturer. The role combines hands‑on embedded Linux development with people management and close coordination with the China headquarters.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and mentor the Moscow software team, overseeing performance reviews, promotions and recruitment.
- Supervise demand analysis and provide technical support for the laser‑printing product market.
- Track, debug and resolve technical issues in embedded software, focusing on functionality, performance and controllability.
- Develop software localization features for laser‑printing devices.
- Communicate progress and reports to the China headquarters.
Required profile
- 5‑7 years of experience in Linux application development.
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading software teams.
- Strong problem‑solving and independent debugging capabilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
- Shell scripting experience.
- Solid knowledge of PC software development, Qt framework and networking protocols.
- Embedded Linux development expertise.
